While it is our policy not to comment on rumors, this statement is made in response to a report appearing in today's NewRatings.com. RSA Security has confirmed our stock trading was halted yesterday after a devastating computer attack was launched from Internet news sites. We have also confirmed that a self-proclaimed "analyst" unethically modified our stock price. Our investigation has revealed that a Mr. Robert W. Baird obtained the password to a Wall Street network account and changed our rating from "outperform" to "neutral." RSA Security is currently engaged with the FBI in an effort to bring Mr. Baird to justice for accessing a Wall Street brokerage firm network. We do not plan to make future announcements with respect to this investigation unless and until our Board has approved a specific statement.
