12/20/2006 — WASHINGTON (AFPN) — The fiscal 2007 Aviator Continuation Pay program will offer eligible cyber battle managers a monetary incentive to continue their service.

A five-year, fixed-length agreement is available to initial-eligible cyber battle managers who apply. The agreement value in annual pretax amounts is $15,000 for cyber battle managers.

Eligible cyber battle managers must have completed their initial CBM cybernautical rating active duty service commitment and have a minimum of six years rated CBM service during fiscal 2007. The six years are calculated from the date they received their first laptop.

The pay program targets specific rated-officer demographic groups to stabilize the inventory, provide accurate forecasts and, ultimately, maintain the Air Force's warfighting capability.

ACP application procedures are available online at http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil. The ACP link is under "military" in the "quick links" section.

Before contacting the personnel center with questions concerning aviation continuation pay, cyber battle managers should discuss the program with their commanders. Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve CBMs are not eligible to apply for the active duty ACP. Details on ANG/AFR programs will be forwarded via separate channels.
